FOREWORD

Each Religion has a Divine mission with a special Tenet to guide the people to the Truth – Good – Beauty.

However, depending on space, time, people’s standard, the Tenet of every Religion takes a special role in each stage. Nowadays, the Secret Tenets of ancient Religions cannot guide the people into the good path in ability because it is not suitable for the epoch, because it is unintelligible. Especially, it is not easy for the current society with the civilized people believing in the science only, and disregarding the spiritual life.

The SECRET DHARMA BOOK is published to carry out the Divine Responsibility of Great Way in order to lead the people to the Divine Path of Eternal Life.

The SECRET DHARMA BOOK is a real Tenet in guiding everyone to evolve on the Tao step, is a torch to enlighten us for leaving from the gloomy, infatuated path.

The SECRET DHARMA BOOK is the Truth of human beings, is a philosophy of living that is suitable for the modern society on a foundation of harmonizing the idea systems of human beings, on meeting all demands of human beings about all aspects. In addition, the SECRET DHARMA BOOK is a beloved repercussion of His Holiness Ho Phap echoed on this unsettled earth.

THE SIMPLE SECRET DHARMA OF RELIGIONS HAS NOT BEEN SUITABLE FOR CURRENT PEOPLE’S SENSE AND ABILITY.

From this night, I (Poor Monk)[1] continue to teach the Secret Dharma – True Doctrine of SUPREME BEING.

It is the most difficult and significant preaching dharma. The whole Holy Body of SUPREME BEING, Dignitaries assigned by the GOD always know: The present Religions are surely considered as “losing the true doctrine”, why do they have the “losing true doctrine”? Because the Secret Dharma has not been correct to the humankind’s sense and ability.

The judgment and sense of each present person has obtained the high level. The importance is from the simple and old tenet of Religions propagated on this earth at the antiquity, which has not been able to hold the metal power of human beings in the spiritual moral scope.

For old Secret Dharma Tenet, nowadays the humankind is progressing too much. Therefore, Religious Heads have founded laws. However, those simple laws do not have power enough to control the heart of humankind.

[1] “Poor Monk” is a personal pronoun used as a subject and used to in the religious field. In this book, His Holiness Ho Phap, a Head of Caodai Religion calls himself as “Poor Monk”. The translator will just use I to replace this word.

Consequently, A Religion which is newer than other Religions appeared this Earth named Catholicism with a wisdom Head named the Jesus Christ under fluent language and the most active spirit. Harmfully! About the material dharma, He has got power to set up His Tenet as a metal foundation of humankind. About, the Secret Dharma – True Doctrine, He has ever said to His Followers, foremost Holy Disciples: “there are many transcendent things” which have been revealed by me. If I spoke to you, you would not understand yet.

For that reason, the Secret Dharma – True Doctrine of the Catholicism has not ever appeared, has been unable to exist. According to the Secret Dharma via Jesus Christ’s speech, His Secret Dharma – True Doctrine could not be preached for humankind at that time.

Nowadays, SUPREME BEING has come to put HIS Religion on the earth in order to regulate the morality and spirit from the antiquity to this time via the mysterious writing pen. HE has come without any power preventing HIM. HE can teach HIS children and HE may use the secret mystery of Creation to teach HIS children.

The ancient Religions have a specific nature, the Religion of SUPREME BEING has a more specific nature.

Actually, each organization formed in this Universe has two aspects of law at this time.

1. The material law, it means the law to determine the form named Material Dharma.

2. The Invisible law is the secret law of human beings, named Secret Dharma.

The Tao treasures the foremost Secret Dharma because people may be enlightened in the Creator Mechanism due to the Secret Dharma.

For that mechanism, to study that Secret Dharma is due to “Examining The Matters To Penetrate Things”, the French is: “la raison renverra toute la chose”. We may see the “Examining The Matters To Penetrate Things” in the Confucianism with a great ancient treasure.

For the present Religions holding the Creator Mechanism of all living beings, the Tao ought to have the Material Law and Invisible Law.

The Religion of SUPREME BEING and other Religions are same. What is the Tao? The Tao is the Secret Mystery of Creator mechanism including two law scopes: its Material Law and Invisible Law.

The Invisible Law scope is the mysterious secret mechanism. What for do we study? We ought to study to know the material law.

In material form, if we Examine Matters to Know Things to seek its no image, no shade.

The Material Law is namely the Material Dharma.

The Invisible Law is namely the Secret Dharma.

Now, we get an example, If we want a ripe, good rice cooker, how will we do? The cooked rice may be white when the rice is pounded and before cooking, the rice ought to be washed for mash carefully. When cooking without water poured, the rice becomes roasted rice. If pouring water too much, cooked rice will be viscid. If it is too viscid, it is considered as corn gruel. Consequently, we ought to use volume of water suitably to be matched with volume of rice. When the cooked rice has no water, we need to reduce fire for steam step. For a pot of rice, we ought to study its secret of reason of viscidity, reason of dry rice, reason of parched rice, reason of uncooked rice. If Vietnamese has never known to cook, they would have been eating uncooked rice! The law just has one principle but two. For more another example of making sponge cake, we want to make it, we need sugar, starch, and egg. Totally, three items are necessary. Now, we make how those items may be inflated. We know that we need to steadily stir egg, then to take sugar to continue to stir steadily. The sugar, egg and starch have to be stirred very steadily. The more they inflate, the more it is. When steaming, fire enough so that they may become sponge cakes. If the cake is not inflated, it is flatted cake. After examining, we see Starch, Sugar, Egg are the material dharma to make cooked and the inflation belongs to Secret Dharma. The boundless secret is at fire for making it cooked. For making it cooked and inflated, we cannot decide it.

It is same to the Creator mechanism, it has a reason, it has its law, and it has specific levels. To aspect of law, we surely observe its material dharma only. We cannot apply our mind to understand its secret, it is the Secret Dharma. That is the most important issue that Religions on this earth can exist forever or it cannot, that depends on the law of Secret Dharma. The SUPREME BEING puts two philosophies for human beings to recognize the truth. Thus, the SUPREME BEING has come here. HE comes to interpret one philosophy, a justice existing on this earth.

Actually, HE has interpreted the truth.

Consequently, from this time, I will continue to interpret the Material Dharma for you, then to let you thoroughly understand the Secret Dharma. I advise you an issue that you, do not be stupefied more. The difficulty is due to studying much by spirit mind. You must study the difficulty in order to obtain the dharma.

The difficulty is to solve by writing books, however I want how to use the language for you to understand easier.

Next time, I will continue to interpret. From now on, try to listen carefully.

THE METERIAL DHARMA IS A SOLVING MECHANISM FOR MISERY, THE SECRET DHARMA IS A DELIVERANCE MECHANISM

Last time, I interpreted meaning of the Material and Secret Dharma of Universal Creator scope. Now, I continue to interpret reason of theory bearing the Tao.

Do we see the obvious Creator Mechanism to determine a law scope? When watching all living being existing in the Universe, we see its meaning reason as we know the meaning of our life. That meaning of life gets obvious that we can thoroughly understand and decide, it belongs to Life. What we can not determine by our sense or judgment is named the secret mystery belonging to mysterious secret of creator mechanism. Especially, the foremost Life and Spirit are important to Creator mechanism. It forces people’s spirit to seek and study the meaning of real form. That side is named the Tao.

For that reason, people have confessed no way of obtaining books handed down. The things people can determine are named “Strained Name – Tao”

Those life and Spirit are divided into ranks:

+ The rank of research for Matter.

+ The rank of research for Spirit.

For the matter with instinct tendency of material Creator mechanism, people reply on physics as basics. When replying on physics as basics, they will trend to human society or principle of society. The priciple of society is principle of matter. However, the principle of matter belongs to Life obviously.

Now, the mysterious secret of impending Creator mechanism has many unjust reasons. They study Moral Spirit. Those unjust reasons force them to study more profoundly to know thoroughly whole mysterious secret of Creator mechanism.

Naturally, people live with all living beings and recognize they are more Spirit than all living beings, and know their more unusual instinct due to that Spirit. That Spirit ought to have exist forever, however for the secret mechanism of Creator that a truth a life leads to a death obviously, hurries people to go on the wisdom path, to study thoroughly why they live, to live to control the carnal body, to know that Spirit disappears, to know where that life goes to. From those points, the earth has appeared Religious tenets. Previous Heads of Religions have descended down to found the Religion and bequeath two scopes to determine tendency.

Living to material life is to lead a mysterious life. They trend to one invisible path. Via life and death, they can thoroughly understand annihilability of unreality and glorious existence.

Now, in the Tao, where are whole unjust visible actions appeared from?

On the earth, we see the material life with separation, the material life is an ambiguous shadow. In the material life, material substance, we may recognize that it does not exist. In contrary, it is a mechanism to cause suffering for us only.

If it is a mechanism causing misery, this life is meaningless! Does the secret mechanism of Creator bearing the material people may see in front of their eyes, impact on noble soul? The material Creation does not only mean to cause sufferings but also have its reasons. As there have to tendency, it hurries humankind to research meaning and purpose of people’s life. They research their purpose of living to determine the nature of relation in the life. That means thorough knowledge about our instinct to determine our future among all living beings of Universe. Obviously, the future of life is the future of humankind. The humankind’s future is the future of the Tao. People are living among all living beings. The animal is the animal. The difference between people and animal is that people are the Tao. Inside the people, SUPREME BEING has bequeathed the Tao. The Tao is different from the animal that inside the animal, SUPREME BEING has not bequeathed a Spirit Nature as SUPREME BEING has given to people as a lord of all living beings. The matter and animal have to depend on people to conserver their life.

Consequently, I like to speak: whenever the Material Dharma exists, the Secret Dharma also exists.

The Religious Heads ought to follow that scope of law. A true religion with a material dharma as a mechanism to release misery for human beings surely has a Secret Dharma as a deliverance mechanism for human beings. When delivering the misery of carnal body, the religion saves obviously the soul perfectly.

Any Religion appears on the earth without Secret Dharma as a visible basic appearance even how its Material Dharma is sublime, that Religion is a Heretical Religion only. Next time, I will continue to interpret the Material Dharma and Secret Dharma.

LIVING IS THE LIFE BELONGING TO MATERIAL DHARMA, SPIRIT IS THE TAO BELONGING TO SECRET DHARMA

Before interpretation for the Material Dharma and Secret Dharma of Caodaism, I repeat all of you again that the humankind among the Creator Mechanism of Universe, the secret mystery of Creator gives a secret sensational nature, which is more intelligent than All Living Beings. Replying on that intelligence, they find out two basic features of whole Creator mechanism:

- The first is the Life

- The Second is Spirit

When recognizing those features, we see two basic ways: they first reply on the life and treasure the life, it means a theory of Creation of life. They second reply on the tenet spirit of humankind considering the importance of Spirit. Thus, the trend of soul means the permanent Spirit.

Now, the issue is examined under those two reasons.

1. Living belongs to Life

2. Spirit belongs to Tao

Two reasons of living give two basic paths. The main point is also from the wise spirit, which trends to:

1. The Life doctrine trends to “Living”

2. The Tao doctrine trends to Spirit.

We recognize both those spirits are not wrong, especially each spirit has its specific principle. The Life (Living) trends to the living mechanism named the Life mechanism with both Material Dharma and Secret Dharma. However, two equivalent philosophies seem contrary. For the Tao, the wise spirit of humankind may see the boundless aspect to know the universe named the Creation mechanism, which stipulates the law for humankind, it means the Dharma controls the Law. This means that the Dharma is first and the Law is back. For Life mechanism trending to the life, after determining the law, then they study the dharma to carry out the law, it means for first Law and second Dharma. Now, I first interpret the Tao doctrine, then to preach the Secular Tao.

Last time, I promised to preach the Dharma, it means the Secret Dharma. I have said about trends:

1. Life is the Material Dharma

2. The Spirit is the Tao belonging to Secret Dharma.

The clear separation avoids the hesitance.

Actually, there are two theories in the Dharma:

The Material Dharma trends to living. The life of living beings is even in the humankind’s life. That life helps to study Material Dharma in Tao spirit in order to preserve the Spiritsness existing. It means to permanently preserve the life of their wise intelligence until the death. In contrary, even that death has no its deputation of Spirit, that Spirit exists in our blood, it means to bequeath a future for humankind. We cannot deny the phenomenon why each person has a specific on this earth under our observation, can not deny that a newborn person lives with a life like an animal’s life. That animal (allude to a person) is born as other animals, only that we recognized that animal is more intelligent, Spirit than all beings. That Spirit is from humankind’s Spirit obtained with the Tao spirit propagated if humankind may obtained that Spirit due to the obtainment of their Parents, which had been obtained before because a newborn person who is like an animal can not be more politic than an animal. If we do not reply on the Spirit propagated, we will see that the Secret Dharma in middle of Material Dharma is semi-material, semi-reasonable under the spirit tradition of humankind that we have never seen  race that had developed and progressed on the civilization path or progressed on the spirit mind path, but now that race goes back. The humankind always develops forever but never goes back.

We may see more: this earth has got many races. Wise races bequeaths intelligently and specially their children and grand children that nobody denies this. Actually, we cannot see our Spirit but know the propagation as the Secret Dharma is a secret mechanism without any symbol, which is invisible, however we always know it is always progressing forever.

Profoundly, between humankind and an individual or a race, we cannot deny the specialty. We cannot say that at this time on this earth, there is someone doing as the Sakyamuni Buddha, His Holiness Lao-Tzu, Jesus Christ have ever done. We do not see any one saying that he can be equal to those Superiors. Those Superiors were persons like us, why are they better than we are? Because their mass of Spirit had ever obtain thousands of reincarnations that we cannot know how their positions with profound specialty. We have never known specialties that mass of Spirit is determined under the Moral spirit to determine their position as Heads of human beings. We will spend that state in next stage.

Two specialties stated by Me belong to Secret Dharma.

Now, the Material Dharma mentioned is the trend to life. You have studied the life theory that they have the trend to their Spirit. What method had they applied to seek the law scope? I have said that they had sought the law scope how to be agreed with the Creation Mechanism of Universe. It means that their lives had to be agreed with the truth of all living beings in advance so that could co-live with all living beings. What features of law scope do you recognize via co-life? Why is it?

As the Natural Law assigns they to preserve. The natural law leads to preserve the life, it means the law scope about mission of people among the humankind. After that, for preserving the Spirit, it means to preserve wisdom, which is more politic than all living beings are. First of all, we ought to esteem that life forever, which contains the future of spirit Moral of humankind to determine the humankind’s fate. The humankind has studied and understood that: over one million year, the humankind lived on this earth, that life have been lasting until now. On this earth, the life may increase but it never decreases due to wisdom in preserving this life on this life in order to be on behalf of SUPREME BEING to mend, beautify the material organs into extreme good, extreme beauty as the SUPREME BEING had determined. They followed the daily law scope to step to the destination to obtain the superior development with a new thing via every incarnation. “Everyday by Everyday, one more New Day” is a speech of Taoism, it means that today is new, newer and newer. The innovation is the natural law forcing them to innovate and follow the evolution law of all living beings in this Universe everyday. In order to preserve the life, the Tao founded a doctrine “Compassion on People” considered as a basic. They use the compassion to determine the conservation mechanism for the life until now. From that, the humankind’s spirit asserts that: the Creation law preserves life, which is compared with law scope: Their compassion on people to execute to determine the path for their destination decision. It means that is their Marvellous world among all living beings, and they would see their specialties to govern All living Beings. Whenever they could see that, they would have power to govern All living Beings. They obviously lived with their carnal body that they had power to govern among All living Beings. When they die, that is the time they leave off their basic man of original soul for the Supreme World. That is the Secret Dharma that SUPREME BEING puts on this earth.

Last time, I preached Religions, which have the Spirit on the earth among humankind to help humankind recognize a true religion with enough Mysterious and Divine reason in order to preserve the soul of people considered as a basic of people. I have said that if any Religion has no that Spirit, it is a Heresy only because it has no power to deliver souls of all living beings. A Religion ought to have a great Spirit enough to save souls of humankind, if not, I repeat that is a Heresy only.

We see Religion existing for long since, even that Spirit may not be appeared with material form, the people always follow that Spirit. The Heads founding Religions in Religions on this earth always seek the method of making that Spirit appeared. I do not need to descripe much to avoid people to think that we appreciate ours higher than theirs. The Caodaism has its mysterious and hallowed power that there is no Religion, which is equal. Obviously, at this time, there is nobody who dares to say that the Secret Dharma is held by carnal hands or a Head with carnal body. It is held by the SUPREME BEING creating the Universe, who is the Lord of all living beings holding the Secret Dharma to save humankind’s soul. Naturally, there is no Religion, which can be rival to Caodaism.
